Birth + Postpartum Doula Services

Black woman is a doula to a white woman and the Black doula is giving counter pressure to the pregnant woman's sacrum.

Birth Doula Package

  • Package consists of 2 to 4 in-home and/or virtual prenatal visits covering various topics including:

    • General connection to establish rapport and trust

    • Addressing any fears or concerns you may have regarding labor, birth, and/or postpartum

    • Discuss family’s birth preferences and help create a plan that aligns with the birthing goals

    • Practicing and implementing breathing, relaxation techniques, and comfort measures

    • Discussing fetal positioning and labor/pushing positions with guided touch to help release tension (I am a CST)

    • Postpartum planning including gift registry assessment, lactation/feeding goals (I am an IBCLC), and partner support

  • On call for your birth starting at 37 weeks with 24/7 communication as needed including:

    • Virtual and in-person support (home and/or hospital) for support as needed for processing options, making decision, comfort techniques, CST for birthing parent, etc. during the labor and delivery period

    • Support with latching and CST for newborn on parent’s chest for cranial + body tension release in the immediate postpartum***

    • Support with latching and oral assessment***

    • Immediate postpartum support for up to 2 hours after birth as needed

  • Package consists of 1 to 3 postpartum visits (in-person and/or virtual) that can include the following:

    • Specialized Lactation and feeding support (I am an IBCLC and support ALL feeding journeys)

    • One CST session to support Newborn’s transition to the outside world (Additional Newborn CST is $80/session for doula clients)***

    • Review Birth process and experience if comfortable

    • Babywearing education and guidance

  • $1,300-2,500

    The desired price point for my Birth Doula Package is $1,900. I do offer sliding scale for all families and do not ask personal questions to determine need. The top of my fee range helps me to continue the work in my community by offering free and low cost services.

Overnight Postpartum Doula Package

  • After booking me as your Postpartum Doula, we will have a virtual or in-person prep meeting (dependent on start date) to discuss the following:

    • General connection to establish rapport and trust

    • Discussing home logistics and baby care needs

    • Discuss family’s initial postpartum goals including feeding, sleeping, and self care goals

    • Gift registry assessment (expert advice + guidance on what to put on your baby registry)

  • Overnight support can start as soon as you need it post birth and includes the following:

    • 2 to 3 back to back nights of postpartum support (8 hour minimum) per week

    • Gentle and non-invasive infant massage at every overnight as needed*** (I am a CST)

    • Holistic lactation and/or infant feeding support as needed (I am an IBCLC)

    • Clear communication and note taking of infant’s night including observations + suggestions as needed

    • Babywearing education as needed

  • $50/Hour A la Carte (8 hour minimum)

    25-72 Hour Packages: $48/Hour

    73+ Hour Packages: $46/Hour

    *At this time, I am not able to accommodate sliding scale for overnight services, but I do offer payment plans and have successfully fundraised these costs through the community. Schedule a Doula Discovery Call for more information.
