Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a manual therapy that helps release restrictions and tightness in the fascia (connective tissue) surrounding the head and body. CST gets its name from the areas of the body the treatment concentrates on — the head and the entire length of the spine from the cranium to the sacrum. CST methods and techniques can also be used anywhere in the body on all human.
Newborns, infants, toddlers, and children respond beautifully to CST. CST can help babies with nursing difficulties, birth difficulties and/or traumas, colic, and general concerns due to comfort of the infant. CST helps balance toddlers and children’s bodies after growth spurts. As a Certified Craniosacral Therapist and Dynamic Body Balancing Facilitator, I specialize in newborns, infants, children, and pregnant folks. I truly believe all newborns need CST and gentle touch to help welcome them to their new world.

Families often choose a CST Intensive when their baby is dealing with:
Reflux or reflux-like symptoms
Persistent colic or high levels of distress
Known or suspected oral restrictions (tongue, lip, or buccal ties)
Preparing for or recovering from a tongue/lip/buccal tie release
Tension from in-utero positioning (breech, OP, long engagement, etc.)
“Something just feels tight” overall body tension without a clear reason
Rough or complex birth experiences (precipitous birth, cesarean, forceps/vacuum deliveries, etc.)
Any ongoing comfort or regulation concerns where your baby seems uncomfortable, dysregulated, or struggling to settle
Intensive Packages are 5 Visits for $600
Please note that CST visits alone do not include supports listed under Services > > Lactation Consultations. If you need general lactation guidance, that is included, but any in-depth lactation support or management will either need a separate lactation appointment time or if time permits, the appointment can be switched from a CST Consultation to a Lactation Consultation.
